Corey Anderson won’t be deterred despite stumbling at a critical moment in his career. Anderson (13-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) had his four-fight winning streak come to an abrupt halt Saturday when he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Jan Blachowicz (26-8 MMA, 9-5 UFC) in the light heavyweight main event at UFC on ESPN+ 25 at Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, N.M. A win likely would have put Anderson on the doorstep of a title shot against Jon Jones, who was seated cageside, but instead “Overtime” will have to put even more work in to get that opportunity.
