HOUSTON – Mirsad Bektic is gunning for consistency in 2020. A UFC featherweight contender, Bektic (13-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) has long been perceived by the public as a fighter with a lot of potential. That said, he’s struggled to follow up, due to injuries and inconsistency. In the lead-up to UFC 247 however, Bektic thinks he’s found a solution which solves both issues. “Fans and promotions haven’t seen me in action quite as much because of injuries and my own ego getting the better of me and overworking,” Bektic told MMA Junkie on Wednesday. “I worked a lot smarter.
