The official fight poster for UFC on ESPN+ 29 has been released, and it features two welterweight contenders who don’t get on, yet have one very important thing in common. The main event clash in London on March 21 sees former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley take on surging British contender Leon Edwards in a bout that could position the winner for a shot at the UFC’s 170-pound title currently held by Kamaru Usman. If the social media back-and-forth between the pair in recent weeks is anything to go by, they don’t seem to get along too well, especially since Edwards started poking fun at Woodley’s rap career. Woodley (19-4-1 MMA, 9-3-1 UFC) is making his return to the cage for the first time since Usman defeated him by unanimous decision to capture the title at UFC 235 in March 2019.
