Leon Edwards says he has assurances of a welterweight title shot if he beats Tyron Woodley at UFC on ESPN+ 29 in March. If that comes to fruition, he has two massive potential scenarios on hand. Edwards (18-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) said he’s not looking past Woodley (19-4-1 MMA, 9-3-1 UFC), but he’s very confident he’s going to take out the former UFC champ to extend his winning streak to nine fights. It seems a title fight between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal could play out in the meantime, and Edwards would be keen to fight the winner. He’s somewhat torn on who he’d like to face, though
