Former Bellator welterweight champion and former UFC welterweight title challenger MacDonald (21-6-1) has signed an exclusive multi-fight deal with PFL, MMA Junkie confirmed with promotion officials following an initial report from ESPN . In his last outing in October, MacDonald lost his 170-pound title in the Bellator welterweight world Grand Prix final to Douglas Lima, the man he defeated to claim the title in January 2018. It was the final fight of MacDonald’s contract.
