INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Gegard Mousasi was in a good mood late Saturday night, and he sure had a funny way of expressing it. Mousasi (46-7-2 MMA, 4-1 BMMA) avenged a loss that has galled him for five years, defeating Lyoto Machida by split decision in the middleweight main event of Bellator 228 at The Forum. And with that out of the way, he’s got another loss he’d like to avenge: the majority decision he dropped to Rafael Lovato Jr.
