DUBLIN – When Roman Salazar ’s ex-manager texted him with the prospective idea to throw his name into the hat for the James Gallagher sweepstakes, the former UFC bantamweight responded: “LOL.” Arizona’s Salazar (13-9 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) didn’t think he’d be chosen to fight in the Bellator Europe 4 main event against Gallagher (9-1 MMA, 6-1 BMMA), but Friday he’ll be doing just that. Salazar replaced Gallagher’s original opponent, Cal Ellenor, who was forced to pull out this past week due to unforeseen brain-related issues .
