As expected, UFC 241 turned out to be one for the history books, with a heavyweight championship rematch, a highly anticipated return and a pivotal middleweight showdown all delivering the goods. In the main event, Stipe Miocic (19-3 MMA, 13-3 UFC) got his revenge on Daniel Cormier (22-2 MMA, 11-2 UFC), but not before having to rally for a comeback, when he won by knockout late in the fourth round to reclaim the title belt he’d lost to “DC” some 13 months earlier. In the co-main event, Nate Diaz (20-11 MMA, 15-9 UFC) returned from a three-year absence to put on a stellar performance against former UFC champion Anthony Pettis (22-9 MMA, 9-8 UFC), leading to a unanimous-decision victory for the Stockton, Calif., native.
