Darren Till has enjoyed a fast rise in the UFC, and he says he wouldn’t have it any other way. After starting out his MMA and UFC career undefeated, Till (17-2-1 MMA, 5-2-1 UFC) was fast-tracked to a welterweight title shot against then-champion Tyron Woodley and ended up suffering his first career loss at UFC 228 . That was followed by a second-round knockout loss to Jorge Masvidal at this past March’s UFC on ESPN+ 5, which left many wondering if Till was rushed to the top a little too fast. Even UFC president Dana White has admitted they may have pushed “The Gorilla” a little too fast , but Till respectfully disagrees.
