Aspen Ladd isn’t as concerned about her condition as the rest of the world was following her scary weigh-in for Saturday’s UFC on ESPN+ 13 main event. Although Ladd (8-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) officially made weight for her bantamweight headliner with Germaine de Randamie (8-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC), it wasn’t a pretty scene. The unbeaten contender trembled on the scale and looked like she was on the verge of a serious medical mishap. Despite the concern, Ladd was cleared by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC), which oversees the card at Golden1 Center in Sacramento. Nearly seven hours after making weight, Ladd reappeared at ceremonial weigh-ins and dismissed the seriousness of the situation
