It’s been almost five months since Brent Primus lost Bellator’s lightweight title in a rematch with Michael Chandler . Both fighters have since been rebooked; Chandler (19-4 MMA, 16-4 BMMA) is set meet fellow champion Patricio Freire at Bellator 221 on May 11, while Primus (8-1 MMA, 6-1 BMMA) faces Tim Wilde (12-3 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) at Bellator Europe 2 this Saturday.
