The acts of kindness from the MMA community continue to pour in following Dustin Poirier ’s interim lightweight title victory last weekend at UFC 236. This one comes from American Top Team owner Dan Lambert. Lambert has joined the likes of Max Holloway, Alan Jouban and Eryk Anders in contributing to Poirier’s Good Fight Foundation non-profit charity, which has a goal of raising money to help build a playground for disabled kids at Prairie Elementary School in Poirier’s hometown of LaFayette, La. The playground will be in honor of Aaron Hill, a 7-year-old boy from the school who died in October 2017 from a rare brain disorder called adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). Poirier on Friday told MMA Junkie that Lambert, who owns the gym in Coconut Creek.
