Danny Roberts is adamant he did not offer a verbal or physical submission at UFC on ESPN+ 5 and said Kevin Sataki wrongly stopped his bout with Claudio Silva . After a tough back-and-forth fight, Roberts (16-4 MMA, 5-3 UFC) got placed in a submission by Silva (13-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) in the third round of their welterweight matchup, which took place at The O2 in London. As the Brazilian attempted to torque an arm, Roberts appeared to elicit some sort of sound , causing referee Sataki to step in and wave it off. An emotional Roberts immediately protested the result and felt he was wronged, and UFC President Dana White made it clear he agreed .
