Bellator prospect Dillon Danis can’t wait to get back inside the cage, and now he knows when that’ll be. During a Monday appearance on “Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show,” Danis announced that he’s booked a fight with Max Humphrey at Bellator 221 on May 11 from Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. The card is set to air on Paramount and stream on DAZN. The fight booking, which MMA Junkie confirmed with a Bellator official, is welcomed news for Danis, whose fledgling career was put on hold following the infamous brawl at UFC 229. Following his win over Conor McGregor, UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov jumped the octagon fence and attacked Danis, who served as one of McGregor’s cornermen, inciting chaos both on the arena floor and inside the cage.
