LAS VEGAS – It was a big day for three of the UFC’s most bankable superstars, all in Las Vegas. UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former champ Conor McGregor were formally suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for their roles in the infamous UFC 229 brawl. They also each were fined, and two of Nurmagomedov’s corners were suspended and fined, as well. Nurmagomedov was given a nine-month suspension and $500,000 fine
