Junior Dos Santos isn’t ready to be a stepping stone for younger heavyweights just yet, and he proved it in emphatic fashion against Tai Tuivasa . After getting briefly rocked in the opening round, Dos Santos (20-5 MMA, 14-4 UFC) regained his legs in the second and dropped Tuivasa (8-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) with two well-placed punches before following him to the mat and finishing him with strikes from full mount to force the stoppage at the 2:30 mark of Round 2.
