After suffering the first defeat of his professional MMA career, at Bellator 199, Carrington Banks felt pretty much as one would expect. “I wasn’t happy about it,” Banks told MMAjunkie. “I definitely wanted to get it back.” But, after succumbing to a third-round rear-naked choke by fellow up-and-comer Adam Piccolotti, Banks also knew that rushing back into the gym would do him no good. So he took three weeks off, “I guess you can call it soul-searching,” before returning.
