Bellator welterweight champion Rory MacDonald is putting at least some of the onus for failing to become a two-division champion on his mental preparedness. MacDonald (20-5 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) was battered and pounded out by middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi (45-6-2 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) in Saturday’s main event at Bellator 206. MacDonald was attempting to win the 185-pound title to go with his 170-pound belt.
