LAS VEGAS – When featherweight Jay Cucciniello returned to The Ultimate Fighter Gym one day after a loss to Bryce Mitchell in the opening round of “The Ultimate Fighter 27,” his goal was to get the most out of training. And hope. Cucciniello, a member of Team Miocic, had seen previous seasons of the long-running reality show, and he knew that anything could happen during filming.
