The UFC returns to Brazil, and to pay-per-view this weekend, and the promotion has rolled out its “Embedded” treatment to preview UFC 224. UFC 224 takes place Saturday at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, and the main card airs on pay-per-view following preliminary-card bouts on FX and UFC Fight Pass. In the headliner, women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes (15-4 MMA, 8-1 UFC) fights in her home country against challenger Raquel Pennington (9-5 MMA, 6-2 UFC). In the co-feature, Kelvin Gastelum (14-3 MMA, 9-3 UFC) takes on Ronaldo Souza (25-5 MMA, 8-2 UFC). Plus, Vitor Belfort (26-13 MMA, 15-10 UFC) meets Lyoto Machida (23-8 MMA, 15-8 UFC) in a bout between Brazilian legends and former champs, and Mackenzie Dern (6-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) takes on Amanda Cooper (3-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC).
