UFC Fight Night 125 took place at Mangueirinho Gymnasium in Belem, Para, Brazil. The card aired on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass. Leading the way was headliner Lyoto Machida (23-8 MMA, 15-8 UFC), who along with a split-decision win in the main event , received a $20,000 payout for being the only fighter on the card with 21-plus fights under the program structure.
