The official weigh-ins are in the books for the UFC’s Saturday return to Brazil, and one of the headliners missed the mark. Eryk Anders (10-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) came in at 187.9 pounds on his first attempt for his middleweight main event against former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida (22-8 MMA, 14-8 UFC), who was 186. Anders was given an additional hour to make weight since he was the headliner, a UFC official on site in Brazil told MMAjunkie. And on his second try, after roughly 50 minutes, Anders hit the mark at 186 pounds, according to MMA reporter Ana Hissa from Combate (via Twitter )
