WINNIPEG – Alessio Di Chirico scored one of the most memorable face-plant knockouts in recent memory tonight at UFC on FOX 26, ending a fight with Oluwale Bamgbose that was otherwise dreadful. The middleweight bout between Di Chirico (11-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) and Bamgbose (6-4 MMA, 1-4 UFC), which opened the FS1-televised preliminary portion of the card at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, had minimal action for more than seven minutes, eliciting boos from the crowd.
