After dropping Roberto Sanchez (7-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) early with a right hand, Morales (9-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) sunk in a fight-ending rear-naked choke in the first round of their flyweight bout . The win not only got Morales’ octagon career started on the right track, but it also meant an added $50,000 to his bank account after receiving “Performance of the Night” honors. It’s not like there weren’t emotions involved in his UFC debut
