UFC 212 took place at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, and the main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. Leading the way were the two headliners. Max Holloway (18-3 MMA, 14-3 UFC) and Jose Aldo (26-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) each received a maximum title-fight payout of $40,000 for their featherweight championship unifier in the main event.
