After all, it got him into the UFC – and even a loss would probably get him some leeway and another chance, seeing as how he would be doing the promotion a favor stepping in for Sabah Homasi. But Price (9-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) didn’t show up to just do nothing and move on to a full camp. Instead, he submitted Thatch (11-5 MMA, 2-4 UFC) with a first-round arm-triangle choke on Friday at UFC 207, handing Thatch his fourth straight choke submission loss.
