It’s also going to be close to another year before he’s able to jump back in it. Machida (22-7 MMA, 14-7 UFC) hasn’t fought since a July 2015 knockout loss to Yoel Romero at UFC Fight Night 70. He was scheduled to fight Dan Henderson at UFC on FOX 19 in April but was removed from the bout during fight week when he admitted to use of a banned substance . The former UFC light-heavyweight champion and No. 9 fighter in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA middleweight rankings , admitted to taking 7‐keto-dehydroepiandrosterone (7‐keto‐DHEA), a hormonal supplement.
