As MMAjunkie reported this past week, Sterling (12-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) and Assuncao (23-5 MMA, 7-2 UFC) were initially slated for UFC Fight Night 102 – until Sterling suffered an injury and was forced off the card. Although officials initially looked for a replacement, Assuncao has instead decided to wait for Sterling’s return, and their rebooking is targeted for a future but still-to-be-determined card, according to UFC.com .
