For the second time, former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans has been denied a license based on a medical issue. Evans was scheduled to face Tim Kennedy at UFC 205 on Nov. 12 in New York, but the fight was canceled the week of the event due to the New York State Athletic Commission having concerns over Evans’ medicals, specifically with his MRI results. The fight with Kennedy was rescheduled for UFC 206 on Dec. 10 in Toronto. On Monday, Kennedy revealed that Evans was pulled from the bout a second time after the Ontario Athletic Commission denied to grant Evans a license.
