Filed under: Bellator , News , UFC The MMA world got a little more interesting this week when officials announced former multi-time UFC title challenge Chael Sonnen has signed with Bellator . Sonnen (28-14-1 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) made 14 UFC appearances during his octagon career and was prominently featured in many of them. He announced his MMA retirement in June 2014 following a string of failed drug tests that led to a two-year suspension. He was cleared to return to action earlier this year, though, and while many expected him to come back and fight for the UFC, he apparently had other plans
