After back-to-back losses earned him a pink slip from the UFC, “TUF 13” runner-up Ramsey Nijem will try to revitalize his career in a new home. Nijem (9-6) on Thursday announced on his Instagram feed he has signed with WSOF. Nijem posted a photo – with his dog in tow – of him about to sign his contract. No timetable for his first fight with the promotion was given, and WSOF has not made a formal announcement of Nijem’s signing. Nijem was 4-1 as a pro when he got a shot on Season 13 of “The Ultimate Fighter.” He was the fourth pick of coach Junior Dos Santos and had stoppage wins over Charlie Rader, Clay Harvison and Chris Cope on the show to reach the welterweight final against Tony Ferguson. But at the TUF 13 Finale in June 2011, Ferguson knocked Nijem out in the first round to win the show.
