Dennis Bermudez gave Rony Jason an unpleasant welcome back to UFC competition on Saturday, keeping the Brazilian away from victory for the fourth time in five fights in the UFC Fight Night 92 co-headliner at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bermudez (16-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC) displayed why he’s been one of the more successful fighters in the short history of the UFC featherweight division, cutting Jason (14-6 MMA, 4-3 UFC) open early and smartly fighting his way to a one-sided unanimous decision victory in the FS1-televised bout.
