Holm’s bantamweight reign, we now know, was short-lived. The 135-pound belt was subsequently passed on to Miesha Tate via submission – only to be most recently conquered by current titleholder Amanda Nunes, in the first round of this month’s UFC 200’s headlining bout. In the lead-up to this Saturday’s UFC on FOX 20 scrap against Valentina Shevchenko, which headlines the FOX-televised card at United Center in Chicago, Holm watched as the latest developments unfolded. And, though “not emotionally invested,” she wished for a different outcome.
