Light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier ’s battle with Anderson Silva was an ugly, tepid affair, but the champ managed to end an emotionally draining week with a safe unanimous decision victory. The light heavyweight bout was part of the main card of the UFC 200 event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Silva (18-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) had a dramatic moment in Round 3 when a body kick clearly hurt Cormier with only moments left in the bout.
