Covington (9-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) defeated Jonathan Meunier this past weekend at UFC Fight Night 89. The third-round rear-naked choke submission at the event from The Arena at TD Place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada helped him rebound from a guillotine choke submission loss to Warlley Alves in less than 90 seconds at UFC 194.
