Still, in spite all of her best efforts, she seems unable to fully shake the ghost of Ronda Rousey . Speaking to reporters on the lead-up to her UFC 200 title defense against Amanda Nunes (11-4 MMA, 4-1 UFC), the women’s bantamweight champ politely asked for Rousey-related questions to be avoided – “just throwing it out there,” she joked. But asked about the possibility of never getting to face Rousey (10-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) for the third time, Tate (18-5 MMA, 5-2 UFC) got very real. “I would be disappointed if (Rousey) doesn’t come back and if I don’t get that opportunity,” Tate told MMAjunkie.
