Filed under: News , UFC INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Fighters from Saturday’s UFC 199 event took home UFC Athlete Outfitting pay, a program that launched after the UFC’s deal with Reebok, totaling $297,500. In the night’s main event, longtime UFC veteran Michael Bisping (29-7 MMA, 19-7 UFC) shocked the world, stepping in on a little more than two weeks’ notice and scoring a first-round knockout victory over Luke Rockhold (15-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) to claim the UFC middleweight title. By entering the night as champ, Rockhold scored a $40,000 check while Bisping netted $30,000 as the challenger. Meanwhile, in the night’s co-feature UFC bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz (22-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) also earned $40,000 while scoring a clear-cut unanimous-decision win over longtime rival Urijah Faber (33-8 MMA, 9-4 UFC), who took home $30,000 for his efforts. UFC 199 took place Saturday at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass
