Dominick Cruz finally put his rivalry with Urijah Faber to rest on Saturday when he emerged victorious from UFC 199’s co-main event to end his trilogy with “The California Kid” with a 2-1 advantage. Cruz (22-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) defended the UFC bantamweight title for the second time at the pay-per-view event in Inglewood, Calif., dominating Faber (33-9 MMA, 9-4 UFC) to win  a unanimous decision in his second fight back after years away from the sport dealing with numerous injuries.
