While it seems fireworks are inevitable in this week’s UFC Fight Night 88 main event based solely on the styles of the two headliners, it appears a little bit of bad blood is building, as well. Undefeated bantamweight prospects Thomas Almeida (20-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) and Cody Garbrandt (8-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) meet in the featured bout of Sunday’s event at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas in a bout that airs on FOX Sports 1. But today, tensions were on the rise as Garbrandt and fellow UFC 135-pounder Felipe Arantes were pulled apart in a lobby at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino after a few brief words were exchanged. Garbrandt took to Twitter shortly after the alleged confrontation to voice his complaints at Arantes’ behavior
