With Brooks’ (17-1) recent Bellator release and all the likely unrealistic talk of a cross-promotional bout in the background, Gaethje (16-0) told MMAjunkie Radio he’s all for making the fight a reality. In addition, Gaethje said he believes Brooks would be well served to lower his expectations on the free agent market. After all, Brooks has only finished two opponents in his ten most recent fights. Something a marquee promotion like the UFC may find undesirable.
