It’s a damn good time to be new UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic. After dethroning Fabricio Werdum with a first-round knockout at UFC 198, Miocic made some strides in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA rankings (while also getting a hero’s welcome back home in Cleveland). Miocic is the new No 1 heavyweight, and he also debuted in the pound-for-pound rankings in the No. 10 spot.
