Although the fight lost its title status, it’s been elevated to Friday’s Bellator 155 main card. Officials today announced a women’s featherweight bout between former Strikeforce champion Marloes Coenen (23-6 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) and Alexis Dufresne (5-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) has been elevated from the preliminary card to the televised main card (via Twitter ): #Bellator155 Note: Coenen-Dufresne will now be on the main card in TV spot #2, Jansen/Held has been moved to the featured preliminary slot. — C.J. Tuʇʇle (@kidceej) May 17, 2016 Coenen initially was slated to fight Julia Budd (8-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA), who recently withdrew from the event with an injury, for the organization’s inaugural women’s 145-pound championship. The fight became a non-title affair as a result. Bellator 155 takes place May 20 at CenturyLink Arena in Boise.
