ROTTERDAM, Netherlands – Nikita Krylov didn’t seem like he had a picture-perfect choke against Francimar Barroso , but it got the job done. Krylov (20-4 MMA, 5-2 UFC) tapped Barroso (18-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC) with a rear-naked choke in the second round, becoming the first fighter to tap out the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt. The light heavyweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC Fight Night 87 event at Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Krylov opened with a kick, then had to block a solid left hand from Barroso. But Krylov came blasting after the Brazilian seconds later and put a combination on him that force Barroso to clinch Krylov up along the fence.
