Rogerio de Lima (14-3-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) and Hester (11-6 MMA, 4-3 UFC) faced off on the UFC Fight Pass-streamed prelims of Saturday’s UFC 197 event, which took place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Rogerio de Lima’s heavy leg kicks set the tone for the fight early on, and as Hester tried to rush forward to change the momentum, he found himself toppling to the canvas. Rogerio de Lima was supposed to stay on the feet according to his pre-fight discussions, but he instead elected to follow to the floor.
