Filed under: News , Videos When non-MMA folks turn to MMA to settle grudges, the results can often be sad, noncompetitive and even dangerous. But two pro poker players who recently agreed to a high-stakes MMA prop bet produced a fairly decent fight. On Thursday rounders JC Alvarado and Olivier Busquet fought for six-figure stakes at the Syndicate MMA gym in Las Vegas. The matchup had been in the works for the past year after Alvarado, who trains Brazilian jiu-jitsu, put out an open challenge. After agreeing to a scrap, Alvarado reportedly put up $150,000 to Busquet’s $120,000 in the winner-takes-all bout. Alvarado, who apparently has past MMA experience (despite not showing up in the major MMA databases), weighed 165 pounds for the fight
