Las Vegas Boulevard Pancrase executive Shinji Nishimura has big plans for the 23-year-old MMA promotion, including a goal of holding an event in Las Vegas next year. Nishimura spoke to MMAjunkie while in town to attend the 5th Annual MMA Combine, which took place April 9 at UFC Gym Las Vegas. In addition to a meeting at UFC headquarters and checking out Manny Pacquiao’s win over Timothy Bradley, Nishimura had an eye out for new roster additions. “Pancrase is always open for new talent and new guys,” Nishimura said. “We have a 23-year history, but we have many, many, many foreign guys as legends like Bas Rutten, Frank Shamrock and many other guys. “Nate Marquardt, Jose Aldo fought in Pancrase before.
