Filed under: Featured Videos , News , Videos , WSOF Clifford Starks is a win away from claiming a WSOF belt and moving his post-UFC record to a perfect 6-0. In Saturday’s WSOF 30 headliner on NBCSN, where he meets surging middleweight champion David Branch (17-3) at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Starks (13-2) looks to maintain some momentum of his own. After a UFC-debut win over Dustin Jacoby in 2011, Starks suffered back-to-back losses to vet Ed Herman and contender Yoel Romero, and the UFC handed him his pink slip in 2013. Since then, though, Starks has posted a 5-0 record at middleweight and light heavyweight while fighting for Bellator and WSOF. Against Branch, a two-division WSOF champ who’s ranked No. 12 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA middleweight rankings , Starks, a 34-year-old former collegiate wrestler, has a chance to break into the rankings and further build his own profile.
