At UFC 166, Lombard (34-4-1 MMA, 3-2 UFC) was matched up with former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nate Marquardt (34-15-2 MMA, 12-8 UFC). The event took place Oct. 19, 2013, at Toyota Center in Houston.
