Following a loss to Jodie Esquibel in her Invicta FC debut in September of 2014, atomweight up-and-comer Jinh Yu Frey has won back-to-back fights for the company and is on the verge of possibly her biggest year yet. Frey credits her recent success to a change in her training, including bringing in a trainer from a well-known recently dissolved team. “I actually switched camps and have been working with Steven Wright, who was the striking coach at Team Takedown, and some new training partners, and it’s really helped me take my game to the next level,” Frey told MMAWeekly.com . The switch was brought upon by Frey’s desire to take her career more seriously and top-tier training to match her move up in level. “I had some training partners I’d been training with regularly, but life happens and people’s ambitions and goals change, and they want to go different paths in their fighting careers,” said Frey
