So grateful, in fact, that Cerrone (29-7 MMA, 16-4 UFC) gave Oliveira (14-3-1 MMA, 3-2 UFC), who shares his “Cowboy” nickname, a memento from his past and made sure to thank him publicly. “They billed this fight ‘Cowboy’ against ‘Cowboy,’ talking there’s only room for one,” Cerrone said at the event’s post-fight press conference at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. “I don’t know if it gets more ‘Cowboy’ than him stepping up and taking a fight on two weeks’ notice.
